Dr. Nicolette Margiotta is a cardiology resident at Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialists, where she is pursuing board certification in cardiology. She earned her undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University on Long Island, New York, before graduating veterinary school from the Royal Veterinary College in London, England.
Following her veterinary education, Dr. Margiotta completed a rotating internship at a referral hospital on Long Island, where she honed her clinical skills. She then gained invaluable experience as an emergency doctor, developing a keen interest in cardiac medicine. Her passion for cardiology led her to a cardiology specialty internship at a referral hospital in Southwest Florida, allowing her to deepen her expertise in this critical field.
Now, as a cardiology resident, Dr. Margiotta particularly enjoys managing complex cases such as congestive heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. She is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to all her patients.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Margiotta enjoys attending plays, running, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is excited to bring her knowledge and passion for veterinary cardiology to the community and looks forward to meeting all of your furry friends!
